Hi all, I hope your having a great day

I have an appointment scheduled with Dr. Churchyard for 26th March. I have heard that he is specialises in HD, and by all reports he is very good. Because the appointment was so far off, my GP, made another referral to Dr. Simon Bower at Monash. I can get an appointment with him on 12th March, so not really much difference in timeframes I suppose.

Does anyone have any feedback on these doctors? Should I wait for Dr. Churchyard? Or does it really not make a lot of difference who I see?

Welcome to the forum, I know you will meet a lovely bunch of people here who are full of information and personal stories of life with HD.

I have messaged you privately, but just wanted to say hi and I hope you will find us a friendly bunch of people who you will come to know over time.

Whereabouts do you live - obviously Vic but in the country or in a suburb? We are all fairly spread out in Vic but when something big is on we have met each other and it's like we already knew each other from just being on this forum.

im very new to this site not sure how it all works yet
noticed your post...Dr churchyard is very very good. my mum has Hd and has been seeing him since she was first diagnosed 12 years ago. mum now lives in a home, (arthur preston) and Dr churchyard goes there every few months and does check ups.
